Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an Area Manager to support a portfolio of up to 10 early learning centres across South of Sydney. This role expands from a Centre Director background to multi-site leadership, coaching Directors, and driving performance across centres.

You’ll partner with Centre Directors, providing coaching, guidance and support to strengthen performance, develop teams and deliver consistently high-quality experiences for children and families.

Qualifications

• Experience leading in early childhood settings, ideally as Centre Director or Senior Leader.
• Strong understanding of early learning operations and centre performance.
• Ability to coach and develop other leaders.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Collaborative, solutions-focused approach.
• Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to use data and insights to drive improvement.
• Passion for developing people and outcomes for children, families and teams.

Responsibilities

• Coach Centre Directors across quality, occupancy and family experience.
• Monitor portfolio performance and identify growth opportunities.
• Lead through centre visits and provide hands-on guidance.
• Partner with people, quality, compliance and operations teams.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and retention across the portfolio.
• Develop relationships with Centre Directors and teams.
• Promote accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
