Job summary

Z Staffing is seeking an experienced Area/Portfolio Manager to support and work closely with our Centre Directors across NSW. You’ll provide hands-on coaching, guidance and operational support, ensuring strong leadership, quality and compliance while helping centres drive performance and deliver high-quality outcomes.

The role involves travel and reports directly to the Approved Provider. We offer an above-market salary of $150K + Super, paid professional development training and a collaborative

Qualifications

• Experience as Area Manager, Regional Manager, Operations Manager or equivalent multi-site leadership within ECEC.
• Strong knowledge of NQF, NQS, National Regulations and EYLF.
• Proven ability to oversee and support multiple childcare centres simultaneously.
• Strong operational, commercial and performance management capability (occupancy, staffing, labour and financial performance).
• Experience coaching Centre Directors for performance and quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

You’ll provide hands-on coaching, guidance and operational support, ensuring strong leadership, quality and compliance while helping centres drive performance and deliver high-quality outcomes. The role involves travel and reports directly to the Approved Provider.

What We’re Looking For

• Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care, or an equivalent ACECQA-approved qualification.
• Proven experience as an Area Manager, Regional Manager, Operations Manager or equivalent multi-site leadership role within ECEC.
• Demonstrated experience overseeing and supporting multiple childcare centres simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standard (NQS), National Regulations and EYLF.
• Strong operational, commercial and performance management capability, including occupancy, staffing, labour and financial performance.
• Experience coaching and developing Centre Directors for performance and quality outcomes.
