Job summary

The Westin & Four Points by Sheraton Brisbane is seeking a Multi-Property Events Executive to plan, coordinate and execute events across multiple properties. You will be the main client contact, ensuring exceptional service from initial consultation through final execution, while collaborating with internal teams to deliver memorable experiences and brand-aligned outcomes.

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, Event Management, or related field - desirable but not required
• Must have active working rights in Australia
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and F&B operations

• Be results driven and have a demonstrated ability to achieve targets
• Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skill
• The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee all aspects of events from client consultations to final execution.
• Act as key client contact, providing personalized support and addressing needs to ensure successful outcomes.
• Prepare banquet event orders and secure client approvals.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless pre-event to post-event service.
• Reconcile charges and ensure timely closing of accounts.
• Attend weekly operational meetings with key stakeholders.
• Perform other duties to meet business needs.

Role Overview:

As the Multi-Property Events Executive you are responsible for managing and executing events across multiple properties, ensuring every detail aligns with client expectations and brand standards. This role involves planning, coordinating, and overseeing all aspects of events, from initial client consultations to final execution, while collaborating with internal teams to deliver seamless service. You act as a key point of contact for clients, providing personalized support and addressing their needs to ensure successful outcomes. With a focus on creativity, organization, and operational excellence, you drive the delivery of memorable events that enhance guest satisfaction and contribute to the overall success of the properties.

Key Responsibilities:

Adhere to all standards, policies and procedures

Ensure all events progress seamlessly by following established procedures, collaborating with other employees and ensuring accuracy.

Prepare and issue banquet event orders on a timely basis, seeking final client approval prior to the event taking place.

Ensure all contract terms and any required deposits are adhered to by the agreed upon dates.

Update all banquet event orders and invoices with any additions noted through the planning journey.

Prepare event documentation and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent, high-level service throughout pre-event, event, and post-event phases of property events.

Reconciling of all charges related to the group/event and ensure accounts are closed in a timely manner.

Ensure Marriott Bonvoy point administration is conducted in a timely manner.

Attend weekly operation meetings and any other required meetings for key internal stakeholders.

Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.

About You:

Catering and Events experience preferably within a high-volume environment

Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, Event Management, or related field - desirable but not required
