Job summary

Redcape Hospitality’s Wattle Hotel in Upper Coomera is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to support daily venue operations across bar, bistro, gaming, sports bar and retail. You’ll work with the Venue Manager, stepping in when needed and developing leadership capability to progress to full Venue Manager.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a pub, hotel or similar multi-outlet hospitality venue.
• Ability to coach and develop teams while maintaining high standards.
• Strong knowledge of venue compliance, liquor and gaming regulations.
• Experience with venue administration, cash management and reporting.
• Flexibility across days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations across bar, bistro, gaming, sports bar and retail.
• Lead shifts with confidence and deliver outstanding customer experiences.
• Lead the venue in the Venue Manager's absence.
• Coach, support and develop team members while maintaining high standards.
• Oversee rostering, stock control, cash management and daily operational routines.
• Maintain compliance, presentation and operational standards across the venue.
