Job summary

Coomera Lodge Hotel on the Gold Coast is seeking an Assistant Venue Manager to partner with the Venue Manager and oversee daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences. You will lead from the front, drive performance across all departments, and manage stock, training, and staff on busy shifts, including late nights and weekends.

Experience in gaming venues and TAB operations is essential, with RMLV and Approved Manager licenses highly regarded.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in an Assistant Venue Manager role.
• Strong experience in gaming venues and TAB operations.
• Presence on the floor during peak service including late nights and weekends.
• Ability to conduct stocktakes and maintain par levels for beverage, food and supplies.
• Train, performance manage and motivate staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations, leading from the front to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Support the Venue Manager in driving operational excellence across all departments.
• Manage staff performance, training, and scheduling to ensure smooth service.
• Monitor stock levels, conduct stocktakes, and investigate losses as required.
