Job summary

Seisma is seeking a MuleSoft Architect who is passionate about designing, building and delivering enterprise integration solutions. This is a hands-on role bridging architecture and implementation, owning end-to-end integration while supporting engineering teams across the delivery lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Extensive integration development experience with MuleSoft architecture and delivery.
• Experience with Salesforce.com.
• Proven MuleSoft Architect / Technical Lead / Senior MuleSoft Developer.
• Hands-on Mule 4, Anypoint Studio, DataWeave 2.0.
• Strong understanding of API-led connectivity and microservices architecture.
• Experience designing integrations across complex enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, RAML and API security.
• Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tools.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of enterprise integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Hands-on API development, configuration, integration patterns and complex problem-solving.
• Define and implement API-led connectivity architecture (Experience, Process, System APIs).
• Design and develop RESTful and SOAP-based integrations across cloud, on-premise and third-party apps.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring and guidance to MuleSoft developers and integration engineers.
• Establish and maintain integration standards, reusable frameworks, best practices and governance.
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot integration issues and support performance optimisation.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Enterprise Architects, stakeholders and delivery teams.
• Drive CI/CD practices and automated deployment across environments.
• Ensure solutions meet security, scalability, reliability and performance requirements.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and highly technical MuleSoft Architect who is passionate about designing, building and delivering enterprise integration solutions.

This is a hands-on architecture role suited to someone who enjoys being close to the technology, not just producing high-level designs. You'll take ownership of end-to-end integration architecture while remaining actively involved in development, troubleshooting, technical decision-making and supporting engineering teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.

We're looking for someone who can confidently bridge the gap between architecture and implementation, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of enterprise integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Take a hands-on approach to API development, configuration, integration patterns and complex technical problem-solving.
• Define and implement API-led connectivity architecture, including Experience, Process and System APIs.
• Design and develop RESTful and SOAP-based integrations across cloud, on-premise and third-party applications.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring and guidance to MuleSoft developers and integration engineers.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Extensive experience in integration development, with strong commercial experience across MuleSoft architecture and delivery.
• Experience with Salesforce.com
• Proven experience working as a MuleSoft Architect, Technical Lead or Senior MuleSoft Developer.
• Strong hands-on development experience using Mule 4, Anypoint Studio, DataWeave 2.0 and Anypoint Platform.
• Deep understanding of API-led connectivity, integration design patterns and microservices architecture.
• Experience designing and implementing integrations across complex enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, RAML and API security.
• Experience with CloudHub, Runtime Manager, API Manager and Exchange.
• Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tools.
• Strong troubleshooting capabilities and the ability to resolve complex technical challenges.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Highly Regarded:

• MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect or MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect.
• Experience integrating MuleSoft with Salesforce and other enterprise platforms.
• Exposure to AWS, Azure or hybrid cloud environments.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments.

We are particularly interested in an Architect who is still technically hands-on. Someone who can design the solution, get into the code when required, guide developers through implementation and take accountability for successful technical delivery.
