Job summary

Mt Pleasant District Hospital in the Adelaide Hills is seeking a Services Assistant - Catering & Cleaning to join a supportive healthcare team. This permanent part-time role (20 hours per week) focuses on delivering essential catering, cleaning and laundry services that support high-quality patient care.

You will work across a rotating roster including mornings, afternoons and nights, with opportunities for ongoing training and development in a friendly country community.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospital support roles and patient-focused service.
• Ability to work in a team delivering catering, cleaning and laundry services.
• Understanding of infection control and WHS standards.

Responsibilities

• Undertake food preparation, cleaning, laundry and stock handling to support daily operations.
• Operate equipment safely following infection control and WHS guidelines.
• Provide respectful assistance to patients, clients and staff while maintaining confidentiality.
• Contribute to training, quality improvement and service delivery.
• Work across mornings, afternoons and nights on a rotating roster.
