Job summary

ETS IT in Penrith is seeking an experienced field technician to perform data and security cabling installations and in-field IT tasks. The role requires on-site presence with occasional work from home, and a willingness to travel to client sites within the area.

You will work with CCTV, access control products and Microsoft 365, with training provided. A valid manual license and a can-do attitude are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in field service and cabling installations.
• Ability to install and commission data and security cabling.
• Familiarity with CCTV and access control products is preferred.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are a growing MSP with a unique offering. We're seeking an experienced and motivated person with experience working in Managed Services.

The role is based in Penrith, someone local to the area is preferable for the ease of office location. However at home is possible at times.

Australian work authorization is required as visa sponsorship is not available.

We are looking for a field technician who has experience in data cabling, security cabling for a hybrid role of security installations and IT works (in field)

Someone who takes pride in the work that they do is very important. We focus heavily on customer satisfaction.

We believe having someone who has a great personality fit with the staff presently at the company is as important as the skills you bring with you. An attitude to learn and strong communication skills are a must.

There will be on-call after hours rosters which will require the phone to be answered, escalated to senior staff thereafter. There is additional allowances for the roster.

Drivers license & ability to drive a manual vehicle is good, but not mandatory. A work ute will be provided to the successful applicant.
