Job summary

Griffith University’s Clinical Trial Unit on the Gold Coast is recruiting a Clinical Trial Coordinator to manage MS trials, ensuring enrolment, participant visits, and ongoing trial management with strict adherence to research integrity.

You will work closely with neurologists, pharmacists, and hospital staff to coordinate assessments, data collection, and regulatory compliance while delivering a high-quality participant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Nursing or a health-related field.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating clinical trials.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.
• Phlebotomy and ECG skills are desirable with training available.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the conduct of the clinical research trial at the Griffith site, including participant enrolment and ongoing management.
• Perform in-person participant reviews and assessments (e.g., ECGs, phlebotomy, cognitive assessments) as outlined in the trial protocol.
• Liaise with ancillary service providers to ensure coordination of all participant study assessments.
• Maintain accurate trial records and perform data processing to ensure data integrity.
• Ensure trials are conducted in line with ICH-GCP and Australian regulations.
