Qualifications

• Demonstrated MRI radiography experience.
• MRI leadership, supervision or unit management experience is highly regarded.
• Bachelor of Medical Imaging or equivalent qualification.
• Current AHPRA registration.
• Current Victorian Radiation Use Licence.
• Experience working with MRI trainees.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong planning and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexibility across varying schedules.

About the Role:

As MRI Supervisor, you will help lead the MRI service across the Geelong region, ensuring high standards of clinical care, imaging quality and operational performance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising and supporting a team of MRI Radiographers
• Maintaining and developing MRI protocols and clinical standards
• Supporting staff training, mentoring and professional development
• Working with trainees and assisting with MRI competency development
• Liaising with radiologists, managers and other key stakeholders
• Contributing to service improvement, planning and operational efficiency
• Helping maintain a high standard of patient care and MRI service delivery
• Previous unit management or MRI leadership experience is highly regarded, along with the ability to effectively lead a multidisciplinary team.

You will be an experienced MRI Radiographer with the confidence and interpersonal skills to supervise and support a team.

To be successful, you will have:

• Demonstrated experience in MRI Radiography
• MRI leadership, supervision or unit management experience highly regarded
• Bachelor of Medical Imaging or equivalent qualification
• Current AHPRA registration
