Job summary

Integral Diagnostics (IDX) Victoria is seeking an experienced MRI Supervisor to lead clinical and operational activities across East Metro Melbourne MRI sites. The role is based at Vermont Private Hospital with travel to Camberwell, Cheltenham and Hawthorn as needed.

You will champion high imaging standards, optimise workflows, ensure safety and compliance, and support staff development across multiple MRI platforms from Siemens, GE and Philips.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Medical Imaging (or equivalent) and AHPRA registration.
• Minimum 5 years’ MRI experience.
• Demonstrated leadership and team development experience.
• Experience managing or supporting multi-site MRI services.
• Advanced MRI clinical expertise across multiple systems.
• SMIRT MRI Accreditation (Level 1 minimum).
• Willingness to travel between sites within the region.

About The Role

At IDX Victoria we are seeking an experienced full-time MRI Supervisor to provide clinical leadership,operational oversight, and workforce development across multiple MRI sites within the East Metro Melbourne region.

This is a full-timepositionprimarily based at our Vermont Private Hospital withflexibilityto travel toourother MRI sites within the Region including Camberwell, Cheltenham and Hawthorn- FMIG.

Reporting to the MRI Manager and Regional Manager, this role ensures high-quality imaging standards, optimised workflows, safe, compliant practices, while supporting advanced MRI services and continuous improvement initiatives across a diverse fleet of MRI systems and vendors.

The position plays a key role in driving clinical excellence, supporting staff training and assessment, and standardising MRI practices across sites.

To Be Successful You’ll Need

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in MRI
• Demonstrated leadership and team development experience
• Experience managing or supporting multi-site MRI services (desirable)
• Advanced MRI clinical expertise across multiple systems/platforms
• Strong understanding of MRI operations, workflow, and quality systems
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills
• Multi-vendor MRI experience (Siemens, GE, Philips)
• Bachelor of Medical Imaging (or equivalent)
• AHPRA Registration and Radiation Use License
• SMIRT MRI Accreditation (Level 1 minimum)
• Ability to work the required rostered hours for this position
• Ability and willingness to travel between sites within the region
