JXB Projects is seeking an experienced MR/HR Truck Driver and Excavator Operator for hands-on work across commercial construction, civil works and project sites in the Greater Sydney area.

Role involves operating excavators, driving company trucks, rubbish runs, transporting materials, and assisting with general site duties. We value dependable, safety-focused team players who can work independently and adapt to site needs.

Qualifications

• Current MR or HR truck licence.
• Clean driving history.
• Current White Card.
• Demonstrated ability to safely operate an excavator.
• At least 3 years in a similar role.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Good communication and ability to follow site instructions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate excavators in line with project and WHS requirements.
• Drive company trucks for deliveries and rubbish runs.
• Load, secure, transport and unload materials, tools and waste.
• Coordinate site access, deliveries and rubbish removal with PMs and customers.
• Complete daily checks and report maintenance for trucks and equipment.
• Assist with demolition, civil works and general site support.
• Maintain clean, safe and organised work areas.
• Follow WHS policies and site safety requirements.
• Assist with general labouring and site duties as required.

Are you an experienced MR/HR Truck Driver and Excavator Operator looking for stable, varied work across Greater Sydney?

JXB Projects is looking for an experienced and reliable operator to join the team, working across commercial construction, civil works and project sites throughout the Greater Sydney area.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll operating excavators, driving company trucks, completing rubbish runs, transporting materials between suppliers, the warehouse and project sites, and assisting with general site duties as required.

We’re looking for someone practical, dependable and safety-focused who is confident operating machinery, comfortable working independently and happy to get involved wherever needed on site.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Safely operating excavators in line with project and WHS requirements
• Driving company trucks for deliveries and pickups
• Completing rubbish removal and runs to approved tipping locations
• Loading, securing, transporting and unloading materials, tools, equipment and waste
• Coordinating site access, deliveries and rubbish removal with Project Managers, Site Managers and customers
• Completing daily checks and reporting maintenance requirements for trucks, excavators and associated equipment
• Assisting with demolition, excavation, civil works and general commercial construction support
• Maintaining clean, safe and organised work areas
• Following all WHS policies, procedures and site-specific safety requirements
• Assisting with general labouring and site duties as required

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A current MR or HR truck licence
• A clean driving history
• A current White Card
• Demonstrated ability to safely operate an excavator
• At least 3 years' experience in a similar role
• A strong commitment to workplace safety and site procedures
• A reliable and punctual approach
• The ability to work autonomously when required
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow site instructions

Previous experience within civil construction, demolition, removals or warehousing will be highly regarded.

Experience interpreting construction plans or following site directions will also be advantageous, along with tickets or certifications in Working Safely at Heights, EWP or First Aid.
