Job summary

Reece Group is seeking a hands-on Trade Counter team member in Caboolture. You’ll help engineers, project managers and tradespeople access the products they need while keeping the branch running smoothly.

A typical day includes delivering items to customers, receipting in goods, assisting customers with product information, quoting, and managing stock and safety on the shop floor. You’ll work with a supportive team in a busy branch.

Qualifications

• Clean, valid HR/MR driver’s licence required.
• Experience in delivery driving, inwards goods, warehousing or customer service preferred.
• Ability to assist customers in person and over the phone.
• Ability to pick orders, maintain shop floor displays and ensure information is accurate.
• Computer savvy and willing to learn new systems.

About the role

As part of the Trade Counter team in Caboolture, you’ll help engineers, project managers and other tradespeople access the products they need to undertake major projects, as well as undertaking other tasks that keep customers happy and the branch running smoothly.

A typical day involves:

• Make deliveries to customers using a company vehicle
• Inwards good receipting in
• Providing customer service and information about products
• Providing quotes both in person and over the phone
• Undertaking pick packing and stock control activities
• Help keep the branch tidy and safe

We’d love to hear from you if you’re someone who:

• Has a clean, valid driver’s licence and a HR/MR license
• Has previous experience in delivery driving, inwards goods, retail sales, warehousing or customer service and enjoys helping customers both in person and over the phone
• Can pick orders, maintain shop floor displays and ensure information provided is accurate
• Computer savvy and happy to learn new systems
