Job summary

Reece Group in Oak Flats is hiring for a Trade Counter team member. You’ll help engineers, project managers and tradespeople access required products, provide quotes in person and over the phone, and support stock control and deliveries.

We value customer‑focused reps who can learn new systems, maintain shop displays, and keep the branch tidy and safe. A valid driver’s licence is essential; forklift licence is ideal but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience in trade, warehousing, or customer service.
• Ability to provide product information and quotes.
• Experience with order picking and stock control.
• Clean, valid driver’s license; forklift license ideal but not essential.

About the role

As part of the Trade Counter team in Oak Flats, you’ll help engineers, project managers and other tradespeople access the products they need to undertake major projects, as well as undertaking other tasks that keep customers happy and the branch running smoothly.

A typical day will involve:

• Providing customer service and information about products
• Providing quotes both in person and over the phone
• Undertaking pick packing and stock control activities
• Helping keep the branch tidy and safe
• Making deliveries to customers using a company vehicle

We’d love to hear from you if you’re someone who:

• Has previous experience in trade, warehousing, or customer service and enjoys helping customers both in person and over the phone
• Can pick orders, maintain shop floor displays and ensure information provided is accurate
• Tech‑savvy and adaptable to learn new systems
• Has a clean, valid driver’s licence. Valid Forklift licence is ideal but not essential
• Interested in upskilling your career! Opportunity to gain your MR or HR licence, or learn leadership skills.
