Job summary

Plumbers Supplies Co-Operative in Sydney's Silverwater area is seeking a full-time MR Driver to join our Bulk Team. This hands-on role involves on-road deliveries and light warehouse duties when needed, across Sydney, Wollongong, Central Coast, and Newcastle.

You'll need a NSW MR Licence and forklift licence, a clean driving record, and reliable, safe working habits. Strong customer service and knowledge of Sydney roads are valued; uniforms are provided and you’ll be part of a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Must hold NSW MR Driver Licence and NSW Forklift Licence.
• Experience in delivery, logistics or warehouse roles preferred.
• Good knowledge of Sydney roads and surrounding areas.
• Ability to safely perform manual handling and loading/unloading duties.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Medium Rig (MR) truck to complete deliveries and collections between branches.
• Load and unload goods safely and check against delivery dockets.
• Obtain proof of delivery and complete paperwork (runsheets).
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform daily safety checks.
• Provide friendly service to Branch teams and assist warehouse as needed.
• Support stock control, packing, and dispatch activities as required.

Job description

We have opportunities for a full time MR Driver to join our Bulk Team in Silverwater.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys being on the road but is also happy to assist warehouse, loading, unloading and general logistics duties when required.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include driving a Medium Rigid (MR) truck to complete deliveries and collections between Branches across Sydney, Wollongong, Central Coast, and Newcastle.

Key responsibilities

• Loading and unloading goods safely.
• Ensuring loads are correctly secured and transported safely.
• Checking goods against delivery dockets and orders.
• Obtaining proof of delivery and completing required paperwork (runsheets).
• Communicating with the Warehouse Manager regarding delays or access issues.
• Providing friendly and professional service to Branch team members.
• Assisting warehouse team with picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch; receiving and organising incoming goods; general warehouse and logistics duties when required.
• Carrying out daily vehicle and pre-start safety checks.
• Keeping the company vehicle clean and well maintained.

About you

• A current NSW MR Driver Licence or higher.
• A current NSW Forklift Licence.
• A good driving record and strong commitment to road safety.
• Previous delivery driving, logistics or warehouse experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of Sydney roads and surrounding areas.
• Ability to safely undertake manual handling and loading/unloading duties.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Reliability and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
