Job summary

The Provedores in Newcastle region are seeking a dependable MR Delivery Driver to join the Warners Bay Distribution team. The role combines driving, freight handling and warehouse support, with a focus on safety and reliable service across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and Hunter areas.

Based from Warners Bay, you’ll stay active, work independently when needed and be part of a supportive team. Casual role with flexibility for peak trading periods and Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Has a current Australian MR (Medium Rigid) Driver's Licence.
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
• Excellent reliability, punctuality and attendance.
• Ability to perform physical work including lifting and freight handling.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Experience in delivery driving/transport/logistics preferred.
• Basic tech skills including GPS and mobile devices.
• Positive attitude and team mindset.
• Availability to work Saturdays and through peak trading periods.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate MR vehicles in accordance with road transport laws and company procedures.
• Complete deliveries and collections accurately and on schedule.
• Load, unload and handle freight using safe manual handling practices.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report defects or maintenance needs.
• Ensure loads are secured and transported safely.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service at every delivery.
• Support warehouse, dispatch and general operational activities as required.
• Maintain compliance with WHS, Chain of Responsibility and safety requirements.

The Role

An exciting opportunity exists for a reliable and safety-focused MR Delivery Driver to join our Warners Bay Distribution team.

Based from our Warners Bay branch, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers across the Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and Hunter regions receive their orders safely, accurately and on time. This is a hands-on role that combines driving, freight handling and warehouse support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, working independently and being part of a supportive team.

We are particularly looking for candidates who can support our busy trading periods and maintain flexibility throughout the year.
