Job summary

Boeing Defence Australia is seeking an MQ-28 Operator Instructor to join the Ghost Bat team at Amberley. You will bridge flight operations and digital learning, developing and delivering training across simulated, virtual, and live flight environments.

You will work with software engineers, SMEs, and instructional designers to design, develop and execute world-class operator training and assessments while travelling between sites as required.

Qualifications

• Flight experience: Minimum of 1500 hours PIC.
• Licensing: B CAT Military experience or CPL equivalent in an advanced aircraft.
• Ratings: Command Instrument Rating or IREX; B CAT QFI Military or Grade 1 Instructor rating.
• Medical: CASA Class 2 medical.
• Training credentials: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE).
• Pilot skills: Remote Pilot Licence (RePL) highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design & develop: Create operator courseware, including digital learning and simulation packages.
• Execute training: Prepare, conduct, and debrief virtual and live flight sorties to ensure mission readiness.
• Assess competency: Lead rigorous assessments to maintain high qualification standards.
• Support innovation: Provide SME input during test, development and IIS activities.

Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is seeking an Operator Instructorto join the MQ-28 Ghost Bat team. In this highly specialised role, you will do more than deliver training you will help shape the training ecosystem for one of the world's most advanced autonomous aircraft.

You will bridge flight operations and digital learning, developing and delivering training across simulated, virtual, and live flight environments.

As an MQ-28 Operator Instructor, you will work at the cutting edge of aerospace technology, collaborating with software engineers, subject matter experts, and instructional designers to:

• Design & develop:Create world-class operator courseware, including digital computer-aided learning and advanced simulation training packages.
• Execute training:Prepare, conduct, and debrief virtual and live flight sorties to ensure mission readiness.
• Assess competency:Lead rigorous assessments to maintain high qualification standards across the capability.
• Support innovation:Provide critical SME input during test, development, and Introduction Into Service (IIS) activities.

This role is based at Amberley, with travel required between other sites.

About you

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong combination of elite aviation experience, instructional capability, and technical aptitude:

Aviation & Instructional Requirements:

• Flight experience:Minimum of1500 hours PIC
