Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is seeking a Qualified Flying Instructor (Category B) / Unit Maintenance Test Pilot (UMTP) to join the AH-64 Apache sustainment team in Townsville, North Queensland. This is a rare opportunity to be a part of a foundational team bringing this latest Australian Defence Force (ADF) capability online.
As a Qualified Flying Instructor at BDA, you set the standard for aviation excellence. We invite experienced professionals to deliver world-class instruction across all aspects of flight training - airborne, synthetic, and ground - upholding the benchmark of quality and safety.
(i) at least 1,500 hours total turbine rotary wing flying experience, with at least 1,000 hours ‘Pilot in Command';
(ii) at least 250 hours total AH-64E flying experience, with at least 100 hours ‘Pilot In Command', and
(iii) at least 450 hours of instructional experience of which at least 300 hours is aircraft instructional.
