Job summary

Boeing Defence Australia is seeking an MQ-28 Ghost Bat Operator Instructor to help shape the training ecosystem for autonomous aircraft. Based at Amberley, travel to other sites will be required.

You will bridge flight operations and digital learning, developing and delivering training across simulated, virtual, and live flight environments. Applicants should have elite aviation experience, instructional capability and strong technical aptitude, including 1500+ PIC hours, appropriate licensing,

Qualifications

• Flight experience: minimum 1500 hours PIC.
• Licensing: B CAT Military or Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) equivalent in an advanced contemporary aircraft.
• Ratings: Command Instrument Rating or IREX; B CAT QFI Military or Grade 1 Instructor rating.
• Medical: CASA Class 2 medical or ability to obtain.
• Training credentials: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE).
• Pilot skills: Remote Pilot Licence (RePL) highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design & develop operator courseware and training packages for simulated, virtual and live flight environments.
• Prepare, conduct and debrief virtual and live flight sorties to ensure mission readiness.
• Lead rigorous competency assessments to maintain high qualification standards across the capability.
• Provide SME input during test, development and Introduction Into Service activities.
