Hays is partnering with leading contractors, councils and open space providers across Melbourne to place experienced gardening and grounds maintenance professionals. Roles include Gardener, Mower Operator, Grounds Maintenance Worker or Open Space Labourer, with ongoing opportunities and immediate starts.

Typical duties include mowing parks and reserves, brush cutting, garden bed maintenance, weed control, pruning and general horticultural tasks, plus operating ride-on mowers and other equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience in parks, gardens, landscaping or grounds maintenance.
• Experience using mowers, brush cutters and other horticultural equipment.
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Current driver’s licence and reliable transport.
• Focus on safety and quality workmanship.
• Desirable: Certificate II or III in Horticulture.
• Desirable: MR Truck Licence and chainsaw or plant operation experience.
