Green by Nature is seeking Experienced Gardeners & Mowers to maintain parks and open spaces across Melbourne's South-East. This permanent full-time role is depot-based in Port Melbourne and runs Monday to Friday with early starts.

You should bring garden experience, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to obtain NPC/WWC checks. Cert 3 in Horticulture is preferred; physical work is required.

Qualifikationen

• Previous experience in landscaping or gardening is highly regarded.
• Willingness to obtain essential checks (NPC/WWC) if required.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and work outdoors daily.

• Assist garden maintenance: hedging, weeding, pruning, planting, mulching.
• Operate hedgers, blowers, whipper snippers and petrol gear safely.
• Load/unload materials, plants, and equipment from trucks.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of tools and work areas.

About the Role

We are looking for Experienced Gardeners & Mowers to assist with various tasks related to garden maintenance. This hands-on role working on some incredible parks & open spaces across Melbourne's South-East suburbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with garden maintenance tasks such as hedging, weeding, pruning, planting, and mulching.
• Operate hand tools such as hedgers, blowers and whipper snippers and petrol gear such as push mowers and ride on plant equipment safely and effectively under the guidance of experienced team members.
• Load and unload materials, plants, and equipment from trucks and trailers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team members.

About You

You have a strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards. Previous experience in landscaping, gardening, or a related field will be highly regarded.

Qualification in Cert 3 in Horticulture, Parks and Gardens or equivalent (preferred)

You have a current driver's licence, National Police Check (or willing to obtain) and Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain).

This role can be physically demanding, and you must have the ability to safely lift and carry heavy objects, bend, squat, kneel and stand for extended periods.
