Sirva is hiring a Move Coordinator in Australia with a focus on customer service and end-to-end relocation coordination. You will liaise with relocatees, clients, and service providers to ensure smooth packing, shipping, and delivery of belongings, vehicles, and even pets.

The role emphasizes coordinating travel, accommodations, and documentation, while maintaining files and communicating status to clients throughout the move.

Responsibilities

• Arrange packing/shipping/storage for relocates' personal effects, cars and animals; liaise with relocatee, client, and suppliers.

• Administer initiation and activation documents from clients; maintain relocation files.
• Provide timely updates to relocatees on move status and KPI progress.
• Follow up with branches and third-party suppliers for information and quotations.

MOVE WITH PURPOSE

As a Move Coordinator, you are responsible for providing customer service and coordination of International and/or Domestic Removals. The role is critical in the successful delivery of our services end to end. You will bring your high attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities to the role where no two days are the same!

In this role, you will:

• In the case of removals, arrange for the packing/shipping/storage of relocates personal effects, cars and animals etc. Liaise between the relocatee, client, removalist and any third-party supplier. Track process through delivery of goods.
• Coordinate the necessary travel, transport and accommodation arrangements.
• Administer initiation and activation documentation from clients and establish and maintain files for each relocatee.
• Provide communication to relocatee regarding the status of all elements of their move.
• Follow up moving services branches and third-party suppliers for outstanding information regarding client moves or quotations.
• Take effective action to identify and act on customer needs.
• Make timely contacts with relocatees within given KPI’s throughout the duration of the relocation.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering high level of service to clients is essential.
• Excellent ability to build rapport and relationships with clients.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and diplomacy is required.
• Ability to think and present ideas clearly/logically.
• Must be a team player and self-starter with initiative and drive.
• Experience in a customer focused or administrative role, providing end to end services supporting government clientele.
• Experience in either International Relocations or Moving Services would be highly regarded.
