Job summary

WorkPac Group is seeking a Mount Morgan– Water Treatment Plant Operator with Cert II / III Water Operations to operate RO systems and monitor filtration stages. You will manage pH, pressures and water quality, conduct testing, and complete inspections for a 3–4 week roster, 12-hour day shifts (6am-6pm).

Applicants should hold Certificate II or III in Water Operations, a Coal Board Medical, a valid driver's license, and ideally Plumbing or Electrical qualifications, with 3–5 years RO plant

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience operating Reverse Osmosis (RO) water treatment plants
• Certificate II or III in Water Operations required
• Preferrable Plumbing or Electrical Trade Qualification
• Driver's license required
• Coal Board Medical (required)

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor reverse osmosis (RO) water treatment systems
• Monitor pre-filtration, microfiltration and multimedia filtration processes
• Manage pH levels and process flows
• Monitor inlet and outlet pressures and respond to pressure fluctuations
• Conduct water quality testing, including pH and conductivity
• Ensure water quality meets operational standards
• Complete routine inspections and reporting
• Assist with general labouring duties, including loading and unloading materials

Roster:

Working from the 9th of November for approximately 3-4 weeks

12-hour days with 30-minute unpaid lunch break

Day Shifts ONLY 6am-6pm

What you will be doing:

Operate and monitor reverse osmosis (RO) water treatment systems

Monitor pre-filtration, microfiltration and multimedia filtration processes

What you will need:
