Job summary

Peopleone Consulting Pty Ltd in Moorooka, QLD, is seeking a dedicated Motor Mechanic to join our established automotive repair team. This full-time role offers 38 hours per week and a salary between $74,000 and $85,000 plus superannuation, based on skills and experience.

You will diagnose faults, dismantle and repair engines and transmissions, perform routine servicing, and use diagnostic equipment to ensure quality repairs, while keeping accurate service records and adhering to safety

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant automotive experience.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Detect and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in engines and vehicle systems.
• Dismantle, repair, and reassemble engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, braking and fuel systems.
• Perform routine servicing and maintenance to manufacturer specifications.
• Test, adjust, and replace defective parts and components.
• Use diagnostic equipment and manuals to ensure accurate repairs.
• Maintain service records and ensure safety standards compliance.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Detect and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in engines and vehicle systems
