Job summary

Auto & General Australia is seeking a trade-qualified Panel Beater, Spray Painter or Motor Assessor to assess vehicle damage and coordinate safe, cost-effective repairs. You will deliver expert advice, write precise reports, and collaborate with repair partners to ensure top quality for customers across our Victoria sites.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years hands-on experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with estimating.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in motor body repair industry (Certificate III in Automotive Body Repair Technology or equivalent).
• Minimum of 5 years hand-on experience as a Panel Beater, Spray Painter or Motor Mechanic and up-to-date industry knowledge.
• Sound experience in writing quotes and estimating.
• A customer-first mindset with strong communication skills.
• Tech-savvy with confidence using computers.
• Ability to work independently and as a team player.
• Valid driver's license.
