Job summary

Key Mortgage Brokers Pty Ltd – Mount Kuring-Gai NSW is seeking an experienced Mortgage Broker to join our growing team. You will work with a steady pipeline of referrals and manage clients from enquiry to settlement, supported by a virtual assistant, CRM and admin support, with the flexibility to work from home 1–2 days per week.

You’ll build relationships, assess clients’ finances, and recommend suitable lending solutions while coordinating with lenders and solicitors through the application

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking or Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management is required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in the mortgage industry, with previous mortgage broking experience.
• Experience with Mercury/Nexus or a similar CRM/aggregation platform.
• Current driver's licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Contact leads and arrange meetings with prospective clients.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with clients.
• Understand each client's financial position and lending requirements.
• Research and recommend suitable mortgage solutions and prepare loan applications.
• Liaise with lenders, solicitors and other parties throughout the application process.
• Keep clients informed throughout their loan journey.
• Conduct post-settlement follow-ups and maintain ongoing client relationships.
• Provide ongoing support on mortgage-related matters.
• Identify opportunities to assist clients with other financial products.

Key Mortgage Brokers (KMB) is looking for an experienced Mortgage Broker to join our growing team.

KMB was established to provide mortgage broking services to customers of our existing asset finance business. This gives you the opportunity to work with a strong pipeline of existing customer referrals while building long-term client relationships. You'll be supported with a regular pipeline of quality leads, CRM support and an established business behind you, while having the autonomy to manage your clients from initial enquiry through to settlement and beyond.

About the role

You'll work directly with referred and prospective customers to understand their financial position, lending requirements and property goals, then recommend suitable lending solutions.

You'll manage the process from initial conversation through to application and settlement, working closely with lenders, solicitors and other parties along the way.

About you

• We're looking for an experienced broker who is comfortable managing their own clients and workload while being part of a supportive team:
• Strong knowledge of mortgage lending and lender products
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• A proactive, client-focused approach
• The ability to work independently and manage multiple applications
• Experience working with self-employed clients and SMSF lending
• A strong track record of converting enquiries into settled loans
• Experience in private lending

Essential qualifications and experience

• Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking, or Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management

Working hours and location

This is a full-time position of 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday during standard business hours.

Our office is located in Mount Kuring-gai, Sydney NSW, with flexibility to work remotely 1–2 days per week.
