Metrix Group, a proudly Australian owned family company, is seeking an experienced shift supervisor to lead our manufacturing team in Melbourne. The role involves hands-on supervision, coordinating dispatch, and ensuring processes run to schedule with attention to quality and safety.

You will motivate the team, operate CNC equipment, and handle packing, quality checks, and dispatch tasks. A high-energy, problem-solving leader with strong mechanical aptitude is preferred.

The role

This is a hands on role requiring attention to detail and the ability to manage a team, co-ordinating dispatch, and ensuring production processes run to schedule and overcoming any obstacles that come up along the way. It involves in assisting any department or process that needs a hand.

Day to day responsibilities will be varied and include;

• Motivating the team.
• Operating CNC equipment.
• Packing and quality checking product.
• Loading & unloading deliveries and dispatch.
• Other miscellanous duties as required.

Full-time, permanent role with regular hours (Monday to Friday from 6am – 2pm).

• Have 10+ year experience in leading a team.
• You are committed to safety-first and attention to quality.

• You have a high level of fitness and are experienced in manual handling (capable of lifting up to 20kg)
