Job summary

Korvest Ltd in Kilburn, South Australia, is seeking an experienced supervisor to lead our afternoon shift across manufacturing, galvanising and warehouse operations. You will manage manufacturing staff and contractors, complete pre-start checklists, coach and develop the team, and drive productivity within safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Sound knowledge and understanding of HSEQ requirements.
• Strict adherence to safety and PPE requirements.
• Strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to problem solve.
• Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office experience advantageous).

Your new role:

We are seeking a driven and adaptable individual to join our Afternoon shift team based in Kilburn, South Australia. The Kilburn site contains manufacturing, galvanising and warehouse facilities servicing a national branch network of warehouses and sales teams.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for day-to-day supervision of manufacturing staff and contractors working within our factory, including ensuring the completion of pre-start checklists and processes, coaching, developing, delegating, and recognising team members to strive for productivity goals, monitoring and managing staff performance, ensuring staff meet safety, quality, health and environmental standards at all times, communicating across all levels of the business, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

You will bring:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role, preferably within a manufacturing environment
• Sound knowledge and understanding of HSEQ requirements
• Strict adherence to safety and PPE requirements
• Strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to problem solve
• Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office experience advantageous)
• Ability to lead and manage a team and demonstrated people skills
