Job summary

InfraBuild Reinforcing is seeking a Site Despatch Team Leader at our Sunshine site in Australia. You will lead daily transport operations, coordinate fleet activities and ensure the dispatch function runs smoothly to support customers, production and project staff.

You will drive safety, load compliance and continuous improvement while mentoring the despatch team and building strong customer relationships. A logistics qualification is advantageous.

Qualifications

• A qualification in logistics is advantageous.
• Proven leadership experience in despatch, distribution or logistics.
• Experience with transport/heavy vehicle industry and load compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expert advice on transport functions and fleet capability.
• Lead and motivate the despatch team to ensure smooth operations.
• Coordinate and monitor transport fleet activities and the delivery plan.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and build customer relationships.
• Liaise with planning and project management teams and handle proof of delivery requests.
• Ensure compliance with heavy vehicle laws and health and safety policies.
