REMONDIS is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to oversee day-to-day activities of our fast-paced operations team in Australia. The role includes allocation and supervision of daily runs, monitoring performance, and ensuring safety and operational standards are met.

You will guide frontline staff, liaise with drivers and sales reps, and drive efficiency, cost control, and customer satisfaction. Strong leadership, dispatch expertise, and a proactive mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership or supervisory experience in operations, logistics, or fleet management.
• Strong understanding of service scheduling and dispatch.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
• Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• A solution-oriented approach with strong problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail with solid administrative and reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement daily runs and route optimisation with Operations staff, Drivers, and Sales representatives.
• Assist in ensuring cost effective and safe waste collection services in accordance with Chain of Responsibility.
• Ensure all Operations are supervised effectively.
• Enhance new business by liaising with existing and new contacts.
• Ensure repeat business and growth through proactive leadership and customer responsiveness.
• Ensure customer service levels are met or exceeded.
• Communicate with Customers and drivers to meet service delivery expectations.
• Promote teamwork and clear communication across the team.
• Allocate work efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Maintain Operations department productivity and effectiveness.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance to meet safety standards and service delivery.
• Identify areas for investment to improve efficiency and revenue.
• Proactively manage unplanned emergencies and inform clients of delays.
• Review Drivers Run sheets daily in a timely manner.
