Job summary

Montessori Academy is seeking a Nominated Supervisor/Centre Manager to lead a Montessori childcare service in Riverwood. You will oversee children, staff and volunteers, ensuring safety and high-quality education in line with EYLF and NQS.

You will train and support educators, manage administrative procedures, curriculum development and community liaison, while promoting occupancy and service excellence. Eligibility includes ACECQA-approved Diploma/Bachelor in ECE, WWCC, and 7:00am–6:00pm shifts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience managing a childcare service
• Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved) or working towards this qualification
• Current Working with Children Check
• Ability to work shifts between 7:00am - 6:00pm Monday - Friday
• First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain one
• Understanding and working knowledge of the National Quality Framework, including: National Regulations, National Quality Standards (NQS), and the EYLF

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Educators to ensure alignment with the service philosophy and policies
• Ensure health, safety and wellbeing of all children, staff and volunteers
• Provide ongoing support to management in administrative procedures and curriculum development
• Promote the service to maintain optimum centre occupancy
