Job summary

Montessori Academy is seeking a Nominated Supervisor to guide and supervise children, staff and volunteers across our service. You will lead Educators to ensure alignment with our Montessori philosophy, policies and the National Quality Standards, delivering high-quality education and care.

The role requires 2+ years’ experience managing a childcare service, a Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (ACEQAQ approved) or working toward this qualification, and the ability to work

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong understanding of industry legislation, compliance and regulations
• Strong understanding of business management
• Leadership and mentoring skills

Responsibilities

• Guide, support and supervise children, staff and volunteers at the service
• Lead a team of Educators to align with service philosophy, policies and NQS
• Train and support staff in EYLF and Montessori Curriculum
• Ensure staff fulfil all aspects of their job descriptions
• Support management in administrative procedures, curriculum development and liaison
• Promote the service and optimise centre occupancy
