Job summary

Randstad Education in South-West Sydney is seeking a Centre Manager to lead a council-operated early learning service. You will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure compliance with EYLF and NQS, and advocate for child safety and well-being across the site.

As a Nominated Supervisor, you will collaborate with coordinators and staff to drive high-quality care, foster community relationships, and guide continuous improvement through reflective practice and strong administration.

Qualifications

• Diploma of Early Childhood or ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 1–2 years of leadership experience in Early Childhood.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• National Child Safety Training.
• Recent Child Protection Training/Safeguarding.
• Current First Aid Certificate (including asthma and anaphylactic training) or willing to obtain.
• Food Handling Certificate.
• Deep understanding and knowledge of the EYLF and NQS.
• Australian unrestricted working rights.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Service Coordinators, Management, and the broader team to drive operational excellence and high-quality service outcomes.
• Drive regulatory compliance and continuous improvement by maintaining alignment with all relevant ECEC standards and operational policies.
• Lead day-to-day operations to deliver high-quality care and education while ensuring full compliance with national legislation and organisational policies.
• Act as a passionate advocate for child safety, well-being, and children's rights across all aspects of the service.
• Drive the implementation of the National Quality Standard, guiding the service toward outstanding Assessment and Rating outcomes.
• Build genuine, trust-based relationships with children, families, staff, and the broader community as the foundation of your success.
• Drive continuous service improvement through regular team reflection and active learning.
• Combine strong administrative capabilities with visible leadership, comfortably balancing time on the floor with operational oversight.
