Job summary

NSW Health Pathology is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our team at Royal North Shore Hospital on a Temporary Part-Time basis (24 hours per week). You will work in diagnostic molecular genetics within a world-class environment, delivering cutting-edge services that benefit patients and communities.

You will gain exposure to diverse techniques, collaborate with leading scientists, and contribute to quality management and training while meeting deadlines in a supportive setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Science/Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent with molecular genetics major.
• Experience with pathology services, LIS, patient systems and QC systems; computer proficiency.
• Strong written and oral communication and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic laboratory testing and sample analysis.
