nicriel is seeking a motivated Prefabrication Engineer in Western Sydney to join their prefabrication team. You will support design, tendering, and project delivery for modular construction in large mechanical services projects.

Reporting to the Design Manager, the role emphasizes design coordination, steel detailing with Tekla/Inventor, and ensuring ISO9001 quality procedures across fabrication and site interfaces.

Formación

• A Degree in Engineering (Structural, Mechanical, or related).
• Minimum of three years in structural steel, mechanical services, prefabrication or HVAC.
• Exposure to BIM/steel detailing software (Tekla, Bluebeam or Inventor) is highly desirable.
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence.

Responsabilidades

• Design & Engineering: Assist in developing concept designs and coordinating with internal drafting teams to produce high-quality prefabrication and structural steel shop drawings.
• Tendering & Commercial: Support the estimating team by assisting with steel take-offs, reviewing tender documentation, and analysing supplier pricing.
• Procurement & Coordination: Work closely with internal stakeholders and vendors to monitor fabrication progress and ensure quality compliance.
• Quality & Documentation: Maintain prefabrication related quality procedures in line with ISO9001 Quality Management System and support documentation control for prefabrication and modular construction records.
• Project Interface: Provide technical assistance during construction and commissioning.
