Job summary

Recruitmark partners with an Australian engineering and construction company to recruit a Project Manager. You will drive successful project execution, control budgets, forecast resources, and manage risks while ensuring client satisfaction and high quality standards.

You will collaborate with the Head of Delivery and MD, overseeing multi-disciplinary teams and ensuring alignment with business objectives. Applicants must be Australian/New Zealand citizens or permanent residents.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in project management, delivery, or construction.
• Strong expertise in cost control, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
• Knowledge of quality assurance, risk management, compliance, and lean project execution.

Responsibilities

• Project Delivery: Oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and quality.
• Project Governance: Establish PM processes, manage risks, provide progress updates to leadership.
• Financial Management: Manage budgets, forecasting, costs, and profitability; identify financial risks.
• Client & Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary link between clients, internal teams, suppliers, and leadership.
• Continuous Improvement: Improve project processes, reduce waste, adopt new tech, strengthen coordination between manufacturing and delivery.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure safety, regulatory, and contractual compliance including site audits.
