Job summary

Plena Healthcare is seeking a Speech Pathologist for a mobile role across the Northern Beaches and Lower North Shore. You’ll assess and intervene for swallowing and communication difficulties in adults, supporting clients in homes and residential aged care facilities.

The role offers flexible scheduling, strong supervision for new graduates, and opportunities to develop skills in dysphagia and communication with diverse neurological and age-related conditions.

Qualifications

• A recognised qualification in Speech Pathology.
• Current membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
• A current driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• A passion for supporting adults to live healthier, happier and more independent lives.

Responsibilities

• Assess and provide evidence-based speech pathology interventions for adults across residents’ homes and community settings.
• Deliver dysphagia and communication assessments and interventions.
• Support clients in Home Care Packages and in residential aged care facilities.
• Provide education and recommendations to clients, families and care staff.
• Collaborate with a national Speech Pathology team to share knowledge.
