Job summary

Torus Group is seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team and support first-class construction and maintenance services across Liverpool, St Helens and Warrington. This mobile role requires flexibility to work at multiple locations and deliver high standards of quality and safety.

You will carry out plumbing installations, maintenance and repairs, supervise apprentices, and work closely with schedulers and other trades to ensure seamless service delivery.

Qualifications

• Time-served apprenticeship.
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Plumbing.
• CSCS card held at appropriate level.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong experience in plumbing, building maintenance and construction.
• Experience of multi-skilled trade activities with core plumbing skills.
• Good customer care and proactive improvement approach.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexible approach to varied duties and changing priorities.
• Strong communication with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plumbing work including installations, maintenance and repairs.
• Support related trades to deliver one-visit philosophy.
• Plan and organise work efficiently with materials and vehicles.
• Coordinate with customers and colleagues for smooth delivery.
• Supervise apprentices and trainees as required.
• Perform diagnostic and pre-measuring work.
• Use IT systems for orders and instructions.
• Make informed repair decisions and communicate follow-ups.
• Complete documentation and support competency development.
• Drive company vehicles safely and maintain tools.
• Manage materials to minimise waste.
• Work with schedulers, planners and teams for coordinated service.
• Uphold high standards of customer care, safety and performance.
• Participate in out-of-hours rota when needed.
