Job summary

Torus Group is seeking a skilled Kitchen Fitter to join our planned projects team. The role involves carrying out complex maintenance, full and partial kitchen installations, and collaborating with other trades across Liverpool, St Helens and Warrington.

This field-based position requires flexibility to travel between sites and support a range of joinery, plumbing and plastering tasks. You will install kitchen units and worktops to a high standard, plan work efficiently, and ensure safety and

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Joinery is essential.
• NVQ Level 2 in a secondary discipline is desirable.
• CSCS card at the appropriate level is required.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Time served apprenticeship is preferred.
• Strong customer care and proactive improvement mindset.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Carry out complex maintenance and construction tasks across joinery, plumbing, plastering or tiling.
• Perform full and partial kitchen installations and removals to specification.
• Collaborate with trades to ensure timely kitchen replacement programs.
• Install units, worktops and joinery components to high standards.
• Assist with plastering and painting for a one-visit approach.
• Plan work efficiently, manage materials and maintain safety standards.
• Ensure quality, health and safety compliance and customer satisfaction.
• Communicate with customers and update IT systems for job info.
• Supervise apprentices/trainees and support team logistics.
• Assist with diagnostics, pre-measurements and repair scoping.
• Maintain stock and equipment; participate in out-of-hours rotas if required.
