Job summary

Komatsu Australia Pty Ltd is hiring a Field Service Technician for Mount Isa, a key mining region in Queensland. Play a critical role in mechanical and electrical maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on Komatsu equipment, travelling to client sites across Mount Isa and surrounding areas.

You'll operate on a 7:7 day roster with 12-hour days, supported by a national network of technical experts, parts supply and training resources.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as a Mobile Plant Technician or diesel fitter.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of HSE and mine-site regulations.
• Strong diagnostics and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on Komatsu equipment.
• Work independently in field with national support.
• Travel to Mount Isa, Cloncurry and surrounding sites.
• Maintain high safety and quality standards.

You’ll work independently in the field, supported by a national network of technical experts, parts supply, and training resources.

Annualised Wages:

Competitive Remuneration & Benefits + $28,600 p/annum location allowance paid weekly for technicians who lives in Mt Isa or Cloncurry
