Porter Equipment Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a 1st year Mobile Plant Apprentice Heavy Earthmoving to join our team in Yennora (Sydney) NSW. This full-time apprenticeship will be based on-site and involve learning from experienced technicians to service, maintain and repair heavy plant equipment and our hire fleet.

During the apprenticeship you will learn diagnostics, routine maintenance, safety protocols, hydraulic systems, diesel engines and plant components, while keeping accurate maintenance

Competenze

• Recent school leaver or candidate with Year 10+ qualifications.
• Genuine passion for mechanics, automotive trades or heavy plant equipment.
• Strong practical aptitude and willingness to learn hands-on skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to follow instructions carefully and work safely in a workshop environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Porter Equipment Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a 1st year Mobile Plant Apprentice Heavy Earthmoving to join our team in Yennora (Sydney) NSW. This is a fantastic opportunity to launch your career in the heavy earthmoving plant sector. As a full-time apprentice, you will work alongside experienced technicians and supervisors to develop practical skills in servicing, maintaining and repairing new, used and customers heavy plant equipment and also our hire fleet. This role is integral to ensuring our fleet operates at peak efficiency and supports our customers' operations across diverse industries. This is a hands-on position based on-site at our Dandenong South location.

What you'll be doing

Assisting experienced technicians in the servicing and maintenance of heavy earthmoving plant and equipment

Learning to diagnose mechanical faults and perform repairs under supervision
