Job summary

Glencore Australia is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Superintendent to lead the maintenance of mobile equipment at Clermont Open Cut, driving reliability and safety. The role reports to the Engineering Manager and offers diverse leadership responsibilities onsite in a large coal operation.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical or electrical trade qualification or higher, 5+ years in heavy industry, and strong leadership and budgeting skills. Queensland driving licence required.

Qualifications

• Mechanical or electrical trade qualification or tertiary qualification required
• 5+ years' experience in heavy industry/workshop environments
• S123 and G2 qualifications
• Experience leading a team to achieve safe, high-performance outcomes
• Contractor management experience
• Strong communication skills
• QLD Driver's Licence

Responsibilities

• Lead Mobile Maintenance team to safely deliver the annual maintenance plan and improve reliability of mobile equipment
• Lead a team of 6 Maintenance Supervisors to safely deliver and execute the maintenance strategy onsite
• Engagement with internal and external stakeholders
• Management of the mobile maintenance budget and forecasting process to support cost management of the Maintenance Department
