Job summary

MMG is seeking an experienced Diesel Fitter to join the Dugald River Mine's Mobile Maintenance team. You will perform planned and breakdown maintenance on heavy mining equipment both above and below ground, reporting to the Supervisor, with an 8/7, 7/6 roster and FOB FIFO options.

Based near Cloncurry Mt Isa or Townsville/Brisbane, this role includes on-site accommodation, meal service and relocation support for local residents, with generous local allowances and a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Relevant HME Diesel Fitter qualification.
• Underground mining equipment maintenance experience is essential.
• A current C Class Licence.

Responsibilities

• Sound knowledge of SAP.

We currently have a fantastic career opportunity available for an experienced Diesel Fitter to join our Mobile Maintenance team at Dugald River Mine.

Reporting to the Supervisor, you will provide maintenance support to the Dugald River Mine operations.

This role is based on an 8/7, 7/6 (Days & Nights) roster, bus in bus out from Cloncurry or Mount Isa. FIFO from Townsville or Brisbane may be considered for exceptional candidates.

About the Candidate

• Relevant HME Diesel Fitter qualification
• Underground mining equipment maintenance experience is essential
• A current C Class Licence

It would also be beneficial if you have:

• Dogger / Rigger / Forklift / EWP licences
• S1, 2, 3 competency
• Cert 2 tyre maintenance

Work Environment

Remuneration for this role includes a competitive salary package, annual bonus and generous local allowances for employees living in the local community of Cloncurry and Mt Isa.
