Job summary

Ck installs pty ltd is seeking a permanent, full-time Joiner to support kitchen and cabinetry projects. The role involves interpreting drawings, selecting materials, cutting and assembling timber components, and ensuring precise joints. You will build wall frames and timber structures, then install on-site with attention to quality finishes.

Applicants should have at least two years in a similar role and be available 7 days a week. On-site work in Brisbane, QLD preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a similar joinery role.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings, plans and specs to identify materials and dimensions.
• Order timbers and materials and prepare layouts.
• Cut, shape and assemble components with proper joints.
• Construct wall frames and structures ensuring square and level.
• Assemble timber structures for on-site installation.
• Create and fit timber joints as required.
• Repair or replace timber fittings and structures.
• Work with timber, laminates, Perspex and light metals for quality finishes.

Job description

We are looking to immediately fill a permanent full-time position for a Joiner in our company. We specialise in kitchens and internal cabinetry.

Key responsibilities

Interpret and review drawings, plans, and specifications to identify required materials, dimensions, and installation methods

Select and order timbers and other construction materials, preparing accurate layouts before commencing work

Cut, shape, and assemble components, ensuring all joints and connections are properly aligned and secured

Construct and erect wall frames, panel systems, and structures ensuring all elements are square, level, and structurally sound

Assemble timber structures and fittings ready for on-site installation

Create and fit timber joints as required

Repair or replace existing timber fittings and structures where required

Work with materials such as timber, plastic laminates, Perspex, and light metals to achieve quality finishes

About you

Possess at least two years experience in a similar role
