Job summary

Fetch Recruitment seeks experienced HSE Advisors to join a client on multiple infrastructure projects in the North and North West suburbs of Melbourne. You will help uphold the highest standards of health, safety, environment and quality compliance across sites.

The role involves roaming throughout Melbourne, conducting site inspections, risk assessments and audits, and delivering practical guidance and training to site staff.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar HSEQ role, preferably in the civil construction industry.
• Certificate 4 in OHS minimum and related health and safety qualifications.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Australian HSE standards and legislation.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug and fitness tests.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and implement HSE policies and procedures across multiple projects.
• Roaming position throughout the North and North West suburbs of Melbourne.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Provide guidance and training to staff on health, safety, and environmental best practices.
• Investigate and report incidents, ensuring lessons learned are integrated into future practices.
• Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate risks proactively.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in line with company and legislative requirements.
