Job summary

Toyota Material Handling Australia in Cairns is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform on-site servicing, diagnostics and repairs for Toyota forklifts and material handling equipment. You will travel to customer sites, troubleshoot breakdowns, and carry out routine servicing to keep operations moving.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified mechanic with automotive/plant/diesel background.
• Hands-on servicing or repair experience on heavy equipment or forklifts preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first approach.
• Comfortable working independently in field locations rather than a workshop.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site servicing, diagnostics and repairs for Toyota forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Troubleshoot breakdowns and perform routine servicing to keep customers moving.
• Manage parts, tools and diagnostic equipment in the field.
• Reflect a safety-first approach and maintain high workmanship standards.
