Job summary

Toyota Material Handling Australia is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to service the Gladstone region. You will travel to customer sites, carry out servicing and repairs on material handling equipment, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.

You will work autonomously in the field with support from the Newcastle Branch and broader service network, maintaining records and delivering professional technical support.

Qualifications

• Relevant mechanical trade qualification required.
• Experience with mobile plant, forklifts, heavy vehicles or similar equipment.
• Strong diagnostic skills in mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled servicing, maintenance and repairs on material handling equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
• Attend breakdowns and respond to customer service requirements.
• Complete preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
• Maintain accurate service records and job documentation.
• Build strong relationships with customers and provide professional technical support.
• Work closely with the Newcastle Branch and our wider service network.
• Manage your daily schedule while working autonomously in the field.
