Job summary

Toyota Material Handling Australia (TMHA) is seeking a Field Service Technician to operate in the Mackay region, travelling to customer sites to service and repair material handling equipment. You will work autonomously while backed by a national organisation, ensuring safety and reliability for customers.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in mobile plant technology, heavy vehicle, automotive, or equivalent.
• Experience with mobile plant, forklifts, heavy vehicles or similar equipment.
• Strong mechanical, electrical and hydraulic diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently with a safe, quality-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled servicing, maintenance and repairs on material handling equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
• Attend breakdowns and respond to customer service requirements.
• Complete preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
• Maintain accurate service records and job documentation.
• Build strong relationships with customers and provide professional technical support.
• Work closely with the Newcastle Branch and our wider service network.
• Manage your daily schedule while working autonomously in the field.
