Job summary

HenderCare is seeking a Casual Domestic Assistant to provide in-home cleaning and light domestic support across the Southern Suburbs of Canberra. The role includes vacuuming, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, bed making, dishwashing, laundry, ironing, hanging clothes, meal preparation and occasional shopping, with shifts of 1–3 hours per client.

Applicants must have cleaning experience, be able to attend multiple clients, and be available Monday–Friday 9am–5pm.

Qualifications

• Must have previous cleaning experience.
• Must be able to attend multiple clients.
• Casual availability Monday–Friday 9am–5pm.
• Willingness to support elderly and people with a disability.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum and mop floors across client homes.
• Clean bathrooms and toilets.
• Make beds, wash dishes, and do laundry.
• Ironing, hanging clothes out, meal preparation.
• Unaccompanied shopping as required.
