Breakthru, part of the Royal Rehab Group, is seeking a dedicated Disability Support Worker to assist people with disabilities to live independently in the Penrith area. You will support goals, provide community-based services, and travel to nearby Katoomba for shifts.

Qualifications

• Criminal record check is essential or willing to obtain.
• Working with children check is essential or willing to obtain.
• NDIS Workers screening clearance is essential or willing to obtain.
• Willingness and availability to travel to Katoomba and work there.

Responsibilities

• Support customers to achieve their goals.
• Facilitate individual and group activities.
• Transport customers to and from services and activities.
• Maintain and establish links to the community.
• Promote independent decision making.
• Work within the principles of person-centred practice.
